@joao @linmob there's #gtk4 4.4 which is good for looking at GTK4 migration but only 4.6 fixes some bugs regarding OSK activation and splash. #libadwaita is missing atm too. Not unfixable but the whole stack should move to crimson/bookworm to make use of all the usptream work #purism does. It also gets more and more involved to have recent #wlroots, etc.

@Alexmitter did you try the current code? They already look different there.
The issue in the video is not so much animation speed per se but rather the easing function and that we want to pick up the swipe velocity.

Initial compositor #gesture code is now merged onto #phosh and #phoc's main development branches. There's some visual and structural stuff to fix before the next release but I'm running it since weeks now and it proved to be pretty stable.

@lanzelot Select Language German in g-c-c and make sure your distro generates locales properly. It's not #phosh specific. When the rest of your desktop doesn't switch to German either then something is wrong with your locale.

If you're running #PureOS you can install `l5-devscripts` on your device and then just do:

and it will fetch the latest #phosh-next Debian package from CI and install it for testing.
