Our car radio does not do #bluetooth so after fixing up headphone detection in device tree and finishing #phosh's mpris MediaPlayer2 interface i can now feed sound via a 3.5mm audio cable from my l5 to the car radio via #mpd and #mpDris2 . Will show up on a #librem5 near you soon.

@sphyphes
There is a thread in the Purism forum. It is even possible to integrate Telegram into chatty which is the primary chat messenger from the librem 5
The latest changes to hit the #Librem5 staging repo have dramatically increased my quality of life. First, Chatty now can use the haptic motor so I get vibration notifications w/ messages. Second, the top menu bar now features quick access to more settings.
@onepoint61803 😜 I am a photographer so I want an app for planing my pictures and the locations 😀
Based on @merge 's accelerometer work (https://lore.kernel.org/linux-iio/cover.1569143551.git.lorenzo@kernel.org/) and yesterday's work to hook iio-sensor-proxy into #phosh, enabling rotation is just a couple of more lines of code.
The video shows the #librem5 devkit but it is the same for the phone. Please excuse the low video quality.
This is the reason why Linux has such big problems to succeed. The own community is hating the open source projects instead of supporting them. Is it really necessary to say which project is better? Would it be that hard for you to find both projects cool? There are pros and cons on both side! And both projects are definitely a step into the right direction. So please stop fighting companies that try to make open source projects! (The Gnome desktop works on Pine thanks to @purism ;))
@lunduke A simple phone call would calm the comunity down a lot (I would guess so due to the posts in the forum) 😅
