So i wanted to see if developing new system modal dialogs for #phosh becomes simpler (and less code) with the recent changes so i took a stab at the EndSessionDIalog:

I've reworked #phosh's system modal authentication prompts to all use a common base class. This makes it simple to add new features like swipe-away based on @exalm@floss.social code and to get consistent styling:

Bitfields (flags) and Enums are now parsed directly out of the gir XML into headers so they can be used in #erlang:

@wyatwerp my main rationale is fun developing it 🙂 Apart from that it's not only about #gtk / #libhandy for UI (wxwidget will not easily fit on phone screens or be #adaptive) but also being able to use other #gobject introspectable libs like #libnm to poke at #Networkmanager, etc.

@wyatwerp hope that changes once we can do #gnome apps with #erlang
