Can I call myself a "contributor" now even though technically I didn't add anything, just removed one line? ๐
@eliasr it's the best kind of contribution

Thanks ๐
I was surprised to see your name in the list of signatures under the "open letter", after I have having read some different viewpoints for example this https://libreboot.org/news/rms.html and this https://www.arp242.net/rms.html it's hard for me to understand. Could you explain?
@eliasr according to the COCOMO model, you just reduced the value of the Linux kernel. Congrats!
@eliasr Nicely done! You've reduced the kernel size by 0.00000036% (using the very meaningful measurement : "no. of lines")
@eliasr There's an old joke: How do you sculpt an elephant? Start with a big stone and carve away everything that doesn't look like an elephant. Congrats on the carving. :)
@billblake2018 Thanks. Let me just work a little longer on it, the elephant will soon be done. ๐
@eliasr It's a *big* elephant. :)
@billblake2018 Don't worry.
Quoting Cedric Daniels in that glorious TV show The Wire: I, for one, am a patient motherfucker.
Thanks to @agx who suggested sending it upstream and also added to the explanation in the commit message.
