@linmob it'd be happy to add a script similar to `_build/run` that gets the path's right based on meson's default so this becomes a one liner.

@linmob here's a full invocation for nested on /#PureOS:

WLR_BACKENDS=wayland GSETTINGS_BACKEND=memory phoc -C /usr/share/phosh/phoc.ini -E /usr/libexec/phosh

The `WLR_BACKENDS` picks the wlroots backend (on gnome-shell/mutter you might want to prefer x11 as mutter otherwise gets the initial window size wrong). The gsettings backend makes sure it uses defaults and the phoc.ini ensures the right resolution.

@linmob Regarding
teddit.net/r/pinephone/comment : One can run the app in a nested session on your PC/laptop (I use that every a lot):

phoc -E /usr/libexec/phosh; WAYLAND_DISPLAY=wayland-1 your-app

You can also use this during CI to take screenshots of your app like we do in phosh itself: gitlab.gnome.org/guidog/phosh/

This falls short if you need modem access, etc and your PC doesn't have a modem, etc but for checking scaling it works and gives you easy log, gdb etc access.

The eagerly awaited Debian Reunion Hamburg 2022 has started! People have been arriving, and are happy to meet in person, to hack and chat together, and much more until next Monday! wiki.debian.org/DebianEvents/d

@tom@mastodon.pirateparty.be feedbackd-device-themes tagged too now: source.puri.sm/Librem5/feedbac - I've also added a NEWS file so things become more obvious for distributions.

@joao @linmob there's 4.4 which is good for looking at GTK4 migration but only 4.6 fixes some bugs regarding OSK activation and splash. is missing atm too. Not unfixable but the whole stack should move to crimson/bookworm to make use of all the usptream work does. It also gets more and more involved to have recent , etc.

@Alexmitter did you try the current code? They already look different there.
The issue in the video is not so much animation speed per se but rather the easing function and that we want to pick up the swipe velocity.

Call management 📞 and phone status reports 🔋 📶 with #Bluetooth HFP devices are coming to #linuxmobile :linux: 📱 through #ModemManager & #PulseAudio 🔊 on @postmarketOS !

Dialing numbers, accepting, rejecting, and hanging up calls are possible through any #Bluetooth HFP device so you drive safely while making a #handsfree call!

Of course there's already an #upstream MR: gitlab.freedesktop.org/pulseau

Initial compositor code is now merged onto and 's main development branches. There's some visual and structural stuff to fix before the next release but I'm running it since weeks now and it proved to be pretty stable.

@dos …once the animatable code lands you can drive arbitrary object properties with a given function making things like this even simpler.

@aurnytorink Not a detail at all. That got lost in one of the many branches I dragged around for gestures (thankfully they're fewer now): gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/p - thanks for noticing!

@lanzelot Select Language German in g-c-c and make sure your distro generates locales properly. It's not specific. When the rest of your desktop doesn't switch to German either then something is wrong with your locale.
