For some reason #plymouth chokes a little compared to the devkit. Patches are all out there now so everyone can build their own encrypted #PureOS images.

Based on @craftyguy 's #osk-sdl work i added cryptsetup-initramfs support to the #librem5's image-builder so one can build #luks encrypted images too. There's more work needed for this to hit the factory floor but at least one can build own images with encryption once all is merged. The video shows the devkit since this a bit simpler to debug over serial:

@purism I improved keyboard navigation in #phosh a bit so the #librem5 becomes more fun to use when docked:

@purism Built a simple virtual mouse for #phosh using #wlroots virtual-pointer protocol so i can navigate the pointer on the external screen attached to the #librem5 without having a physical mouse attached. Useful for e.g. presentations when you only connect a beamer.

@purism This is just a quick hack so far but we can now use #phosh's future 'docked' mode to only display 'adaptive' apps when undocked and all apps when docked based on their desktop file information:

So #phosh can now enable a 'docked' mode on screen plug: windows become moveable automatically (and get their close button back), #squeekboard gets disabled and there's a quick setting that lets you toggle that too:

Switched to #PureOS #Byzantium (plus some hacks until i have all pakages uploaded) on my #Librem5 #Dogwood. That's way closer #Debian #Bullseye and it already works quite well:

Less hacks when driving an external screen with the #Librem5: you can see how the monitor picks up the video signal when the yellow led on the external screen turns to blue and the external mouse is detected when the cursor appears on #phosh's lock screen in the upper left corner (and yes, i need better video equipment):

A quick hack to wire up the volume buttons in #phosh and #phoc so music listening becomes more of a breeze on @purism 's #librem5:

Our car radio does not do #bluetooth so after fixing up headphone detection in device tree and finishing #phosh's mpris MediaPlayer2 interface i can now feed sound via a 3.5mm audio cable from my l5 to the car radio via #mpd and #mpDris2 . Will show up on a #librem5 near you soon.

Missed call notifications coming to #calls on the #librem5. With the persistent notifications in #phosh #calls can use that to inform about missed calls:
