@linmob protip: gobject introspection packages start with "gir1.2-"

phoc 0.7.1 is out, which among some minor fixes allows more keyboard buttons to be handled by (such as PrintScr). Say thanks to @agx who authored all commits in this release and grab it from source.puri.sm/Librem5/phoc/-/ :)

Spent a few days learning about colorspaces, color matrices and plenty of other colorful stuff; and here come the results: white balancing and proper colors in the viewfinder :)

@twrightsman In this case L5 wins, but that's mostly luck - automatic color balance on L5 can be drastically off at the moment. Also, Canon seems to hate greenery for some reason.

Pigeon puppet self-made by Agata Nawrot - you may know her art from Animatch :)

BTW. Librem 5's sensor can shoot in 10-bit depth, but for now the driver is limited to 8-bit only.

org.Gtk.MountOperationHandler support coming to so you can open encrypted volumes with swipeable, modal dialogs

@purism

@twotwenty I have a few devices from various batches here, some are on byzantium and some on amber-phone (and one even has them both). This particular photo was made on amber-phone, but it doesn't really make any difference in this regard.

"Making a phone that avoids Big-Tech spying is one thing ... But manufacturing that phone in the USA is a feat that few thought possible. Not only have we proved it’s possible, it’s shipping." puri.sm/posts/manufacturing-th

@hamner Fun fact: early on when I started working on phoc I have used mate-panel as a test case for some layer-shell related issues since using it was an easy way to trigger them :D

@eliasr @martijnbraam @purism That's typical for overexposured images. Can be corrected in dcraw by adjusting -H option.

@eliasr @purism @martijnbraam Not everything needed for nice full-res photos has reached the repos yet, it's very fresh. Also, you need to adjust gain and exposure settings manually while taking photos (there's no auto mode atm) to avoid over/under-exposure; and same with focus.
