What is life? Is it nothing more than an endless search for a place to nap? And what is a nap, but a constant reminder that we're all only one virus attack away from oblivion? And what of the poor kitty? Destined to an existential swim down the river of life to an unknowable destiny?

@owingst I should add that at this point it's still hit-or-miss - some photos look fine when processed automatically, but some definitely need manual tweaking to look reasonable.

I don't know much about processing RAWs though, so when I do tweak it manually I just adjust some sliders until I'm happy with what I see :)

@owingst These ones were processed automatically by dcraw, so I'd say that counts as "straight from the camera"

Looks like I did a poor job processing that one - I should have checked what dcraw could output automatically first 🤣

Receiving MMS messages on the is getting closer to working by default. In byzantium the needed and fixes are already there now, we just need to add and purple-mm-sms manually: source.puri.sm/Librem5/chatty/ Thanks to Chris T and @craftyguy @purism

@spacemanspiffy Three pictures made quickly after each other, turned into a GIF with gifski.

@anirudh Because it's easier for me to do nice close shots where I'm in. I'd have to go for a longer walk.

But I've heard that @devrtz may have some pretty landscapes to share soon ;)

@anirudh All gain/exposure/focus adjustment is manual so far. This means that when, say, making photos of constantly moving objects like cats you tend to lower exposure and apply a lot of gain so you have a chance to catch it in a still pose. Also, we need more driver work to access longer exposure modes anyway. It's all WIP and changes quickly, plus my photos are just me having fun along the way and aren't really proper demonstration of sensor's abilities ;)

@dukethereal It would probably be better to move farther and use a bit of analog zoom for this kind of photo on such camera, I guess - but since there's no analog zoom on L5 I tried to position them both the same way instead.
