the focus of blockchain should be empowerment, not getting rich quick

it's nice if that happens, but the excitement should be on tech that allows us to take back control of our lives

from big tech, from banks, from governments

prob going to get ratio'd for this but 🤷

Building on top of social.librem.one/@agx/1061656 and about 80 commits later we passed the magic 50% test coverage hurdle (meaning we test about half of automatically which each commit).

If you have a hard time calling me in the next days it's because we're reworking the way incoming calls are handled in / - so you can jump back and forth between locked and unlocked shell (please excuse the video quality). Now we need to fix make it look pretty.

@gnome please add support to Gnome web for installing extensions from extensions.gnome.org. Ever since I switched to firefox flatpak, I am being forced to use Google chrome to install extensions.

Been testing @devrtz code in . reminded me to end that call before restart - nice to see things coming together:

@gnome is awesome!! I am on ubuntu 20.04 and am still able to enjoy the latest apps. Just made Gnome web my default browser. Missing the extensions though 🙁 Can't wait to try on real hardware.

So I spent the last few hours on taking pictures of cats with the rear camera of my Librem 5. Yep, that's my job now.

All credit for the camera support goes to Dorota, Martin and Angus: source.puri.sm/Librem5/linux-n @merge @purism

If you're going to publish a book, you get an ISBN.

Imagine a global catalog not just for books, but all publishing.

And imagine if that catalog wasn't owned by big corporate publishers, but by the creators themselves.

That's the LBRY protocol.

"me in the morning, right after I turned the switches on"

This may not be the most impressive winter selfie (it's a 8M sensor outputting 0.3M after all), but you got to start somewhere :)

I did nothing but taking the photo (looped in a script with v4l2-ctl and dcraw; then displayed on screen using Eye of GNOME) - all the credit goes to Dorota and Martin, and the work continues there: source.puri.sm/Librem5/linux-n

Linux content creator @art (Arthur Reeder) got a strike from YT just because he made a video about #foss software NewPipe... in 2017! 🤨

Awesome @purism #Librem5 detail: The USB-C charging cable is full-featured, meaning it can be used to connect to USB-C displays like my HP Elite X3 LapDock.
