With phoc being a phone compositor and touchscreen being a primary input device, mouse pointer handling has been a bit neglected - but it's going to change soon! Fixing some pointer-related bugs and adding quality of life improvements in :) @purism

Ok, maybe it's not that impressive for a regular person in 2020, but right now I'm playing Neverball in VR mode using cardboard headset with fully FLOSS GL driver (etnaviv) on a GNU/Linux phone (Librem 5) and it's damn amazing! :D @purism

One of the things I've been personally looking for on the was USSD support in Calls. No need to wait anymore, as it was recently implemented by Mohammed Sadiq just in time for the Evergreen release :) @purism

SuperTuxKart played on a Librem 5 phone using an external keyboard and a 1080p TV. So this is this "mobile gaming" they keep talking about, huh? :D
@purism

Just made my first mobile payment with my bank app straight from the Librem 5 - via Anbox. The last reason to occasionally boot an Android phone just went poof! :)

Thanks to @exalm@floss.social taking care of Webkit's packaging, Epiphany's GPU acceleration can now work on the ! Before (no acceleration) and after (GPU accelerated):

External screen, keyboard and mouse attached to my phone running my favorite IDE - Qt Creator. Looking forward to try this setup on the first post-pandemic game jam :D @purism

That's how the Librem 5 performs with all the GPU acceleration in place :) @purism

Thanks to work of @purism kernel team and ongoing upstreaming efforts, getting new kernels to run on the Librem 5 is a breeze! This is running the freshly released 5.7-rc1 with ~100 patches on top; some of which are already queued for 5.8.

I've collected some hacks from our kernel team and tested the idle time on battery on my Librem 5 Birch - got almost exactly 6 hours while staying at 38°C the whole time. Not that long ago it struggled to reach 3h and stay under 60°C - and they're not done yet! :D

Another WIP feature - power users will appreciate this one ;) This is unmodified GNOME Maps. It wouldn't fit on the screen, but phoc can now automatically scale its window down to make it fit.

It still needs a lot of work, but a proof of concept for window thumbnails in appears to work :) @purism

Why do people say that is "so thick"? I mean, just look, it's clearly the thinnest one! ;)
