I'd like to hear from people that are running on other devices than the or (including pro) to get a better idea about the use cases.

Is it portrait or landscape by default? What's the native resolution and display diagonal?

Kindly asked @FrOSCon yesterday to please add and to the list of supported platforms for the conference talk feed and it's already fixed: froscon.org/programm/ - thanks a lot!

@chrichri @dos With expect such breakage every now and then (that's why it's experimental).

@chrichri @dos you were running ? Because I think it never manifested in as it was related to the wlroots 0.15.x update.

@martijnbraam @purism to make it a bit more obvious we're working towards 1.0.0 😺

phosh 0.20.0 is out 🚀📱 :

After three beta releases we've finally tagged phosh 0.20.0.

Check out the full release notes at gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/p . This also links to the release notes of the beta releases which have more details.

And the good news is we already have new merge requests pending for phosh 0.20.1 and 0.30.0.

@purism

phoc 0.21.0 has been released, more stable than ever, paving the way for the imminent release of phosh that will bring a lot of goodies in :) Grab it at ➡️ gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/p @purism

@leimon @debconf That was more from the Debian point of view like: what's the likeliest thing that we can get booting, show up a display and run stock and that's not the devkit.

@leimon @debconf someone needs to find the time to fix up gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/p. is a mitmach-shell so patches are welcome. kanshi (wayland.emersion.fr/kanshi/) might work for you too.

@agx I mean I know I'm an #rms fan boy, but even for open source folks this is clearly GNU/Linux phone, as we have had Android/Linux phones for over a decade now

@Fu Interesting. Did you dock it to larger screen? What apps did you use? Most people I've met that use this with Android weren't very happy with the app situation where as on Linux with a distribution you have the adaptive ones as well as the ones for desktop that work very well in these situations (as they were built with that use case in mind).

phosh 0.20.0~beta3 is out 🚀📱 :

It fixes many bugs on our road to 0.20.0.

Check out the full release notes at gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/p for details.

@purism

Improved 's screenshot support a bit so it can also handle screen area selection leveraging slurp (wayland.emersion.fr/slurp/) and gnome-screenshot.
