I'd like to hear from people that are running on other devices than the or (including pro) to get a better idea about the use cases.

Is it portrait or landscape by default? What's the native resolution and display diagonal?

Check out the full release notes at gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/p for details.

@purism

Improved 's screenshot support a bit so it can also handle screen area selection leveraging slurp (wayland.emersion.fr/slurp/) and gnome-screenshot.

@purism

For my talk I've hacked up the great pdf-presenter-console to fit the phone screen and show my notes so I can see what's currently on the LCD for the audience: source.puri.sm/guido.gunther/p

It's pretty ☀️ here at so let's have automatic switching to HighContrast theme in (based on the ambient light sensor) so one doesn't have to toggle it manually when moving to the talks inside.

@purism

📱 On my way to and it was the first time I could show the QR code of a train ticket on 's lockscreen to the conductor (had to resort to unlock ➡️ nautilus ➡️ evince so far).

For that I stitched together a lockscren plugin that leverages 's libevince. Hope the other tickets will works just as well tomorrow.

@purism

phosh 0.20.0~beta2 is out 🚀📱 :

It fixes most of the things for 0.20.0 but there's more.

Check out the full release notes at gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/p for details.

@purism

If an application is not adaptive and hence doesn't fit the phone screen under , 's scale-to-fit could help since some time. With the recent phoc release this can happen at runtime and there's a GUI for that now too:

@Puri_sm

phosh 0.20.0~beta1 is out 🚀📱 :

Couple of days late due to Reunion in HH but here we go:

* swipe gestures on top and bottom bar
* quick settings and top bar on lock screen
* Revamp settings menu
* Lots of detail fixes

It's a beta since we want to put some final touches on gestures and top-bar to not regress (see gitlab.gnome.org/groups/World/).

Check out the full release notes gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/p for details.

@purism

📱Quick settings are moving to phosh's lock screen which gives us more always visible indicators too:

phosh 0.17.0 is out 🚀📱 :

The release is a bit smaller than usual but syncing up with 42 is well worth it:

* Add mobile data (or rather lack thereof) indicator
* Implement portal access API
* Sync up with GNOME 42 changes

Check out the full release notes gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/p for details.

With the groundwork for gestures coming to I wanted to see if we can reuse the animation code needed for that in other places like 's tiling window placement.
