I hear some instances have an edit feature. I only have "delete & re-draft," so I mostly just live with my typos. 🤷

@alaric Thanks for the heads up. I've only every gotten one really nasty reply that was full of anti-semitic garbage, so I went to the instance thinking, "Oh, I should let them know." and of course it was all full of white supremacist stuff. Obvious domain block. pieville.net

@sri my weekend project was going to be setting one up on masto.host, but they paused signups because they were getting so much traffic. Cool problem to have though! Yes, I could set it up myself, but I’d really like the ease of a managed service.

@mastohost thanks! And whenever you get to it. Congrats on being busy. 😁

@kyle @golemwire I would watch video of that. Just putting it out there. 😁

@tobe that would be cool. Let’s hope someone works on that and can get that merged. Also, yay

This post on by @dsearls is getting a lot of nice attention, but I’d love to see more comments and feedback. I’ve also enabled the chat feature, and I’m curious to see if that will encourage some discussion. reality2.substack.com/p/the-di

@purism Is there a way to show a "bounce" message or something for people trying to DM someone on social.librem.one from another instance?

I can't receive DMs because they are disabled on the instance I'm on, but if you send me one, there is no way for you to know this. SO, I'm NOT ignoring you. I just don't see them. :)

Tomorrow 11/2 at 11:30AM EDT: I'm joining a panel of experts in DPI (Digital Public Infrastructure) for some lively discussion around and frontiersdigitaldevforum.com/a
