I mean, seriously, how many places out there have engineers who develop an M.2 breakout board to debug their phone and then release the schematics so you can make one for your own phone? It's basically Hogwarts over here @purism -- I'm surrounded by wizards.

The FSF had this to say about why the Librem 5 is on their guide:
"Although it won’t be released until Q2 2020, this phone is one to keep an eye on. We’re giving it a tentative recommendation because the company has publicly committed to doing the right things for prioritizing user freedom and privacy, and because we have evaluated and endorsed the operating system it will run."
The #Librem5 is on the FSF's #EthicalTech Gift Giving Guide, https://puri.sm/posts/librem-5-on-the-free-software-foundations-ethical-tech-gift-giving-guide/
