@kosmosghost @purism Phosh is using a lot of GNOME technologies and we consider us part of the GNOME community/ecosystem but phosh doesn't use gnome-shell so its extensions won't work. There's extension points for e.g. lockscreen plugins though (and more planned for e.g. quick settings).

Good news everyone! The gPodder media RSS reader / podcast client / podcatcher had a bugfix release (3.11.3) last week (subscriptions to youtube user ID URLs now work, yay!).
I also made a release of the adaptive UI version for all your portable podcast needs on #mobileLinux. Get it from #flathub: https://flathub.org/apps/org.gpodder.gpodder-adaptive
phosh 0.32.0 is out 🚀📱:
More fixes in #phosh and #phoc ➕ allows to reorder lock screen plugins (thanks gauthamx@mastodon.world) ➕ improvements in phosh-osk-stub's virtual-keyboard mode in non US layouts (e.g. for electron apps) and initial #varnam support for Malayalam.
Check out the full release notes at https://phosh.mobi/releases/rel-0.32.0/

cat=$((cat+1)) 😺
I'm back from the vet this morning with an official adoption for Geuloush. He is a fully-grown male cat who has probably been abandoned by his former owners in the summer. 😡
We put notices around our house in search of them, but failed to get any feedback. The poor thing was starving and in bad shape. After a month of care, he is now loving and healthy. 💜 He'll be neutered soon. He is an exact copy of Miolek our number 3 and here is a photo of them:
Almost doubled the battery life of the @purism Librem 5 phone I am testing and reviewing that I had purchased. I stumbled across a blog of theirs mentioning automatic suspend and this alone turned me leaving work with an almost dead phone to it having roughly 56% battery. It still needs to be greatly improved to match mainstream expectations and it gets a bit warm but it’s now actually useable as my secondary phone #infosec #cybersecurity #cellphone #linux
I just remembered:
There's also an option in bm818-tools to "enable CBS" IIRC.
Not super sure what it does, but the code would be somewhere around here: https://source.puri.sm/Librem5/bm818-tools
Have a look at https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mobile-broadband/ModemManager/-/issues/253 where some of our engineers have also posted.
So while it is not ideal the community is certainly aware of the issue :)

I just talked with one of our engineers, this is what they had to say:
It could be a broken CC line on the L5 or it could be a crap cable.
Getting a trace using the debugging steps here https://source.puri.sm/Librem5/firmware-tps6598x-nonfree might help (identifying what's going on)

From personal experience there have been a good amount that worked (discourse forums, some sites local transportation sites in germany) but a few that didn't.
You'd need to check the individual site.
Open #GNOME browser (#epiphany) to install and manage PWAs.
To install: just visit the site you're interested in and install it as PWA from the (hamburger) menu.
Updated @allanday's Disks mockups to a split view layout. Always surprising how much of a difference this small change makes visually :)
Had the need to charge an all electric Kia recently and guess what: both the charging stations app and the vendor's app are proprietary so how would I know when charging finished?
Turns out people around #HomeAssistant figured out the vendor API so I could use that to have a small app to monitor the charging status on my #Librem5 running #phosh
