There is one thing that is really annoying with my #Librem5: the USB-C cable.
What is the point of having a reversible connector when the cable itself requires to be reversed half of the time 🤦
I just connect my #Librem5 to my computer, power pass but no data:
usb usb2-port1: Cannot enable. Maybe the USB cable is bad?
I have to reverse the cable to make it work 🤷

I just talked with one of our engineers, this is what they had to say:
It could be a broken CC line on the L5 or it could be a crap cable.
Getting a trace using the debugging steps here https://source.puri.sm/Librem5/firmware-tps6598x-nonfree might help (identifying what's going on)
In case of HW issue (broken CC lines) please get in contact with support (and tell them your order number).
