@Wolthera 🎉
love it. Actually on a phone i can't use it, but what i like about it is the pinephone feeling comming to android 😂
@leobeltran @threemaapp
I understand your point. Group encryption is indeed a feature and probably easier to implement if you don't have federation. At the end its just nice to have both of them i guess.
Just tried to get into brave browser because it gets promoted every now and then.
But already struggling with installation.
If its that popular, how is there no Debian package? No Flathub package. No second source to trust other than brave itself?
If building it from source, getting it from brave or snap are the only way to go, I have my doubts.
@leobeltran @threemaapp oh, didn't you just anounced it the other day?
Sounds good, i hope it will work on mobile linux as well?
So the only real advantage matrix has over threema is federation, which is debatable anyway?
@threemaapp i dont have it yet. Is it already usable on a stock linux system? Or will it soon? And opening the sources will be cool as well. 😀
As of todays #linux-next (https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/next/linux-next.git/tag/?h=next-20210112) you can run the #librem5devkit without any additional patches using the default mainline arm64 #defconfig. This means distributions can enable it without trouble from #linux 5.12 onwards. The #librem5 itself needs some more work but it builds a lot on what we have for the devkit.
@Alexmitter ah your right about that. Id take one :-)
@Alexmitter not shure about the font. I think i like the mobian logo as of the webpage better.
Prototype of my custom laser engraved back cover, in this case for #mobian. The logo scale is not yet correct, design is open for discussion. #pinephone #pine64
Just tagged phoc 0.6.0 - notable changes: filters out touch events on disabled touchscreens (thanks to @craftyguy), improves handling of tiled windows, includes plenty of bugfixes for mouse pointer support and tries a bit harder to fit windows onto the screen (which may help some Flatpak apps). Grab it for your distro while it's fresh! #librem5 #phosh #phoc #gnomeonmobile #mobile #gnu #linux @purism https://source.puri.sm/Librem5/phoc/-/releases/v0.6.0
To all #Anki users on #PostmarketOS : Please try out #Anki on your mobile device! It's fresh in the repo (package is maintained by yours truly).
It works great for me so far. But if you find anything odd, please let me know.
Oh, and please boost! Thx!
@admin there is something wrong, that doesn't happen to me.
