@threemaapp i dont have it yet. Is it already usable on a stock linux system? Or will it soon? And opening the sources will be cool as well. 😀

So the only real advantage matrix has over threema is federation, which is debatable anyway?
@petrisch @threemaapp I would say that Threema is better than Matrix because all communications are end-to-end encrypted. Groups in Matrix are not encrypted by default and in Threema they are managed directly in each users’s device.

I understand your point. Group encryption is indeed a feature and probably easier to implement if you don't have federation. At the end its just nice to have both of them i guess.
