It's been 3 months since my last login to facebook. Using a platform lends credibility to it. It struck me recently how much YouTube I consume. I think I should try to cut it off: there are other platforms (and some "youtubers" have mirrored content to other sites). Surely, I'll miss *some* things...

Like, I'm glad you use peertube and all, but which platform are you really pushing people toward?

@zudn the server should do the distribution of omemo fingerprints automatically (at least to most clients maybe after the first message?). But I guess if you're cautious, it wouldn't hurt to verify that the correct fingerprints were distributed.

@linuxlounge Do you happen to use vi? I switched to #dvorak back before I discovered the editor wars (I was using gedit), and now I use #micro, but vi keybindings are so common across tui apps, it's a little frustrating .
