I recently found an iPhone at a café - looked like one of the more premium models. Tried to give it to the bar personnel, but the seat wasn't reserved and they had no clue how to contact the owner.

The phone and the case didn't have anything identifying. Tried to see if it was secured and it showed that it had a pin of six numbers. Pretty sure I couldn't get in, I tried all zeroes and 123456. Bingo. The latter one was correct

I opened the phone book just to check whether there was a favorite contact. There wasnt but there was an ICE. Texted the ICE that he phone can be picked up at the café and handed it to the personnel, solely stating that it would be picked up.

But OMG. It feels so incredibly wrong to go over those details - if I had malicious intentions I might have been able to inflict serious harm.

Please, if you want your phone to be recoverable: make sure it has some identifying info (or enable Find My) - and if you don't want that, make sure it is impossible for a hack like me to get in that easily.

Mobile phones often contain data that you don't want to share completely with one person!

I hope goes out of business, at this point. Another crash and another lost session.
I'm either gonna downgrade ("downgrade") from this expensive PC, or I'm gonna see if I can replace its socketed CPU with one with (non-Nvidia) integrated graphics.

Reminded of how the things of the world don't satisfy ( ) ultimately.

OK, so I tried a few other Nvidia drivers. Not working. Actually briefly considered switching to a much cheaper laptop I have on hand, just to get away from Nvidia. But it's Lenovo (I try to avoid Chinese tech, for obvious reasons); might be worth it though.
I had just assumed that by buying a I could avoid compatibility issues, but... here we are. (To System76's credit, though, they're very up-front about their laptops using Nvidia GPUs.)

Probably / , as usual (Nvidia sucks >:( ). Gonna try some different Nvidia drivers, I guess. I'm a diehard fan, though, so I'm sticking with Nouveau even if it means my session occasionally degrades and falls apart (and the inconsistent framerate... oof!) [if Nouveau is the only one that works, I mean.].
Usually when I use an official Nvidia driver, lots of stuff turns black and won't come back when I resume from suspend.

OK, something's wrong with my computer. I'm at a TTY (not PTS!) right now (i.e. Linux "fullscreen" console). Weird graphical things. My Sway Wayland compositor crashed, Zen browser is freezing and displayed garbled visuals, part of my mouse cursor turned pink for some reason, and this TTY keeps on getting weird small white lines on it (like 3x already).

I'm not *quite* ready to try to publicize it, but here's a little bit. It's written in a custom programming language for a custom CPU ISA, running in an emulator I made. The game is currently about 15KiB.

Yea, it should be an option burred some place. But I got over it. I'm bothered that sometimes I cut&paste the URL and it get the `https://` though it wasn't highlighted when I cut it.
