What's amusing to me is I have noticed that now the geoclue/GPS stack on my L5 often works better than my spouse's iPhone.

I'm really excited for the next release of geoclue: I have worked with the devs to make it functional with #mobilelinux:
gitlab.freedesktop.org/geoclue
gitlab.freedesktop.org/geoclue
gitlab.freedesktop.org/geoclue

and GPS works really well with Pure Maps. This was honestly one of the few things that I have really missed when I left Android.

@dos Not sure the first one posted correctly. Just as well since this is slightly better centered.

@laalsaas @devrtz we had almost 20 people at the get together. Thank you all for joining.

If you didn't have time today to visit the #MobileLinux #devroom at #FrOSCon today, maybe you can make it tomorrow!

None of the program will be streamed, so come by live and in colour (:

Madge was kind enough to pose for me as I snapped this photo. I've been slowly earning trust with a few crows over the past months. They are so incredibly smart!

starts tomorrow and we're having a short get together in the 📱 devroom (C117) at 16:30. Everyone interested is invited to share some stories, attach names to faces and 🍾 the 0.30.0 release.

Canada goose and mallard, comman around here.

About the mallard (gräsand in Swedish) Wikipedia says: "The mallard or wild duck (Anas platyrhynchos) is a dabbling duck that breeds throughout the temperate and subtropical Americas, Eurasia, and North Africa."

So the gräsand is a "dabbling duck", and that's not an insult or a joke or anything, it's just a fact. They dabble, so they are dabbling ducks. :-)

I use a somewhat old sports watch (what a joke, it's 10y old and does seem to have stoped support for it). I use it offline by downloading its data to my Linux notebook. While on vacation I could do the same using the same software stack on my mobile phone: a .

Once in a a while I still get this feeling how amazing it is to have a small Linux computer in my pocket - even though it is already since more than a year my only mobile phone.
