@craftyguy @dcz @bart @PINE64 For the record, there's nothing that inherently prevents u-boot on L5 from accessing the SD card (which is a mass storage device connected over USB) to boot the kernel from it. All it needs is drivers and correct configuration, which simply hasn't been done yet. Angus has mentioned that it should be easier now on mainline u-boot, so there's a chance it may be there soon(ish).

@craftyguy @dcz @bart AFAIUI you can set which partition (boot0, boot1 or user) is bootable. Never tried myself though :)

@craftyguy @dcz @bart "Hidden" is a wrong word, they're just separate - available as /dev/mmcblk0boot0 and /dev/mmcblk0boot1, currently empty by default. There's also a Replay Protected Memory Block at /dev/mmcblk0rpmb. Each of them 4MB.

@dcz I want my old self to be more like your old self.

@joshfowler There's a color correction matrix that I've calibrated against my laptop's screen, so it's not perfect, but let's say close enough for now. We're still missing some stuff like lens shading and lens distortion correction though.

The community has a tradition of "secret santa" game jam - where each participant writes a list of wishes and makes a game for someone else based on their wishlist. I took part in it this year and made "a game with spy/stealth/assassination type gameplay" called Secret Santa :)

@Truck I can type pretty fast without looking, but I have never actually learned touch typing, so I don't do it in any "standardized" way - it's just muscle memory.

phoc 0.10.0 and 0.11.0 have been released ➡️ gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/p

0.10.0 contains several fixes for window and shell layer placement, better handling of tiled windows, output mapping for tablets and external touchscreens, and lots of code cleanups; 0.11.0 is the same as 0.10.0 except of having wlroots upgraded from ancient 0.12.0 to latest stable 0.14.1. Enjoy!

@martijnbraam @joao Actually, no rebasing necessary - `v5.13.19..pureos/byzantium` and `v5.15.5..next/byzantium` work just fine!

@martijnbraam @joao That's probably because of stable release merges. Rebasing should be enough to deal with it.

@martijnbraam @craftyguy @Tay0 @calebccff My only issue with the sliding assembly on N900 over all these years was when a business card got in between display and keyboard parts while in my pocket, cutting the display ribbon in half. Thankfully, I already had some spare parts around :)
