Okay, so this is a little off the cuff, but I got my thoughts out on my blog.

Education & Productivity

I didn't proofread it, so forgive any errors in spelling or grammar. This is pure stream of consciousness.

I am 30 years old.

I went to a University.

I am going to write about University and my thoughts today. Check back for a blog post before too long.

Cheers!

What if your Social Media, Email, & Chat were run by a company that...

- Doesn't sell ads
- Doesn't sell data
- Doesn't look at your junk

It exists. Right now.

@klaatu I was listening to an episode from Season 8 and you made a big deal out of Enlightenment Desktop. Do you still really like it? I was thinking about trying it out.

I see some people pressuring tech companies to build a machine that blocks entire groups from Internet Society. They must be bigger optimists than I am, all I can think of is how such a machine will be abused.

Coffee Corner! This is a little set up I made to take advantage of some extra counter space. Got my bean bucket, my grinder, and my aero press coffee maker. It's a pretty nice set up 👌

Interesting episode about Snaps with @popey being interviewed. Found it via

Hacker Public Radio: HPR2811: Interview with Alan Pope hackerpublicradio.org/eps.php?

So, is really pushing me towards a centric environment. Every time I look for deps for a GTK app, it have to compile them by hand and GNOME doesn't really document deps for the deps and all that, so I'm thinking about switching my laptop over to LXQt and my Desktop over to KDE.

@todd hey, I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you for helping to create a better world with Purism and all the Librem things out there! You and the teams behind all of this are very much appreciated!

I can't wait to get my Librem 5. It is the first mobile device I have been truly excited about.

Hey y'all!

Today is my birthday! I'm now 29. My plans in the morning are to make biscuits and cheese, and then in the evening I'm going to be... doing what I normally do with an evening to myself, hop between doing CSS, Org-mode stuff, and working on the project of the day - which I'm planning to be qtMUD.

If you wanna give me a birthday present (money), see emsenn.net/#supplements-contri

After compiling ALL night, GHC (Haskell Compiler) finally resulted in a nice executable install script... had I known it would take that long I would have looked around for a precompiled executable... NOW I can install Pandoc with its 137 dependencies.

Say hello to Telephant!

I've written a little Mastodon client for the Desktop - called Telephant - and am currently looking for beta testers!

Want to help out and don't mind compiling the app yourself? (Don't worry it's fairly straight forward and I've added detailed instructions to the README!)

Join me here:

Looking forward to hearing your feedback!

I have been thinking that I will sell my Laptop, Dekstop, extra phone, 3 tablets, 6 RAM sticks, other laptop, extra router, and a number of other items, and buy one laptop to rule them all.

This one:

Does that sound like a smart decision?
