Librem One Code of Conduct:

@purism question: I get the need for being respectful of others, but how is this interpreted? Does this mean you going to be compelling the speech of others if their Religious, political or cultural beliefs or stances differ from the current norm?

(Compelling as in forcing a user to adopt language that they actively disagree within but not limited to the above subjects.)

@purism the other concern is wording like this. While people do need to be reprimanded at times, It suggests there's no willingness to let others make mistakes, and potentially hang transgressions over them for the rest of their existence.

It's incredibly unhealthy for social dialogue for something that would be limited to largely just words on the internet.

If it becomes threats or physical actions taken face to face, then that becomes a whole other can of worms.
