I replaced my personal laptop with a Librem 5 and laptop dock for a week. Here are my impressions: https://puri.sm/posts/my-first-week-of-librem-5-convergence/
https://puri.sm/posts/librem-5-news-summary-january-2021/ So, #librem5 orders from October 2017 are expected to be shipped by May. Which means that my order from July 2019 won't be here by ... the fall? the end of the year? :(
Just received the #fsfbulletin, which was apparently sent on November 17th x)
@koolaidwithkaran@mastodon.technology @stevenroose I think you're looking for https://signal.org/blog/the-ecosystem-is-moving/ That was quite a disappointing find...

Two on-site job postings added today: https://puri.sm/jobs/ more (including remote work) will get posted in the future.
@cameron So it's been a great experience so far :p My brand new phone still works and now runs LineageOS. Next step is to install F-Droid (which you can't get from Google's App Store) but that's for tomorrow
@cameron Okay the LineageOS install went pretty well! I read this article first: https://www.androidauthority.com/lineageos-install-guide-893303/ and it gives a lot of useful background info. Then the Lineage wiki gave clear instructions and commands so I wasn't lost even though it was pretty much my first time touching an Android device
@cameron @frankstrater@linuxrocks.online @nergal I'm in the exact same situation as you with a dying iPhone 5 and no short term hope from my #Librem5 order. So I ordered a Motorola g7 and will try to put LineageOS on it... I'm nervous as well but if it works it's going great for the transition phone until I get a usable Librem
@mrbaraban @purism A Librem One subscription maybe? I got one to get email. I no longer use the email but kept the subscription anyway
@raichoo @costalfy
#MustHaveDevTools
1. #NeoVim (#vim also works)
2. #git
3. #gitlab ❤️
4. #SublimeMerge (A good GUI git client, finally)
5. 🤔 #bash I guess?
@bachir @manhack@social.tcit.fr +1, voter avec son portefeuille c'est encore la meilleure solution. "Dire qu'il suffirait qu'on arrête de l'acheter pour que ça ne se vende plus"
@purism Biggest improvement for 2019 was switching from gmail to #ProtonMail 🇨🇭❤️ Looking forward to my #Librem5 in 2020!
@tapaniraja GitLab for its free version being open source and for being more than just a code hosting service, having CD pipelines for example
