I am largely fine with boosting posts from people I disagree with even on significant, dividing issues. I usually don't, however, if they actively advocate for these ideas... so it goes :/

Almost 180k new users joined #mastodon yesterday, a new record. This third #twitterMigration wave happened after Musk's Twitter 2.0 ultimatum to #Twitter workers. Each wave is stronger than the previous one. Here is my updated plot showing the three consecutive waves.

Have I mentioned I *really* enjoy working on shaders? Here's some volumetric lighting implemented in URP for Farewell North.
This was done a few months back and I'm still pretty thrilled with the result!

@alemacilenti I just set two separate alarms (I use my phone as an alarm).
@don_kosak Oh I'm sorry. I meant that as an interesting fact more than a complaint. It was intriguing
I do 20 minutes; it feels more refreshing than the normal 10. Scientifically, a nap is best at either 20 or 90 minutes, so this makes sense to me.
How long do you all set the snooze duration on your clocks/phones, for your morning alarm?

One day into it, and I've already unfollowed @georgetakei.
He's just being really negative and toxic (even if it's for a "good" reason), like on #BirdSite.
That isn't what this space is about, and I highly doubt anyone is going to be able to reach him and say, "Hey George, amigo, boss, awesome person; that's not the way we do it here."
Call me a #snowflake all you like. I just really enjoy the positivity here, and don't relish the idea of it turning into #BirdSite.
