@michaelburch@fosstodon.org Someone get @Gargron on this, STAT ;)
@jeremydebose Boosts are one of my favorite parts of Mastodon. It's like an algorithm-free way of getting curated new content.
I only turn them off when my feed gets too big, or someone is frankly a little spammy with it
How many times do you get an idea, just for it to die before it begins? High-quality work is ideal, but a poorly done work of creativity is better than none at all!

@CM30 That's a hard question.... I feel like it is in-between.
TIL that sharks are apparently #Sonic characters and come from Mobius…

@256 Gotta love obsolete future proof PCs
@lamp No, not real ;)
@curiouscatastrophe @casserolefood In the Sealion comic the sea lion persists even though the other person is trying to disengage.
It seems like neither of us are going to change our minds on anything here, we might as well stop
@casserolefood @curiouscatastrophe @jayulfelder "which means it is only the willfully ignorant bigots who would like their demonstrably inaccurate belief to supersede any and all factual evidence"
Many of them could just not know about the evidence. I have relatives who would claim it, and I'm sure haven't heard about this study. My complaint is about claiming that they are *bigots*, I wasn't talking about whether or not the study is accurate.
@benjaminhollon That's cool!
@RL_Dane @redgreen925@fosstodon.org If you're using Wayland, Foot is a pretty good #terminalEmulator. It is incredibly fast to open. Like, if the daemon mode is on (and maybe when not), you're pressing Super+Enter (say) and your finger hasn't come off the Enter key yet and the window is already open.
@servant Good night!
When Jesus said that we should always forgive, even if the offense is repeated, he knew that Christians soon and hundreds of years in the future would be asking forgiveness of him, even daily of the same sins over and over again. The parable of the unforgiving servant follows in Matthew 18. Changes how the passage feels to me. #microSermon :D
Hello there!
I boost a lot of posts, but I have a few things to say every now and then.
I am largely fine with boosting posts from people I disagree with even on significant, dividing issues. I usually don't, however, if they actively advocate for these ideas... so it goes :/
