To put it in a more programmer-friendly way, this is like using the boolean equality operator, `==`. So that what you ask is like `myBaseQuestion == youreTheTruthfulGuard`. A similar idea to using boolean XOR logic.

This method should work with any question you ask the guard. Take your yes/no question, written in the same "is whether..." way, and add "the same as whether you are the truthful guard". If you do it right you should get the correct answer from the guard. This is because it inverts their answer if they are the lying guard. They then invert their answer if they are the lying guard and you get the truth.

Ask 'Is whether the first door is the correct one the same as whether you are the truthful guard?'. The guard should then report the truth, regardless of which guard you ask.

If you ask the guard, 'Is the other guard the truth-teller' then the answer should always be 'no' regardless of which guard you ask. Interesting, right? Try referencing the other guard in the question you ask somehow.

Ask 'Would the other guard tell me that the first door is the correct door?' then take the opposite door.
