@ChameleonScales I'm planning on doing a video soon about Plex and Jellyfin. Jellyfin is the open source alternative, but it's not quite ready for the limelight yet.
Plex is good, but there are many proprietary components that I find irksome.
@ChameleonScales I have seen this. I hope it makes a difference! I'd be willing to to join a US union.

@codedragon57 In order to manage your account, you have to have the desktop app. I never created my channel, LBRY did by scraping my YT channel for me.
My latest video is now live on LBRY! https://beta.lbry.tv/here-s-how-i-used-web-technology-to/7329a9654e201b3fa7ae576f7e74738eaa97673d
@bob@bobadon.co.uk @lunduke @tpharrison @strikersan@framapiaf.org yeah, that would be nice, actually.
@lunduke @tpharrison @strikersan@framapiaf.org I mean... I _watch_ YouTube on my TV. And aside from a handful of ripped TV shows from Blu-ray that I stream through Plex, I don't watch TV shows. It's almost exclusively YT/LBRY.
@tpharrison @strikersan@framapiaf.org @lunduke truth is, YouTube is the largest audience. Plain and simple.
Also, I'm of the mindset that we should be colloquially appropriating intellectual property (as in the name YouTube) so as to rob the holders of their rights to it.
LBRY is youtube, PeerTube is youtube, BitChute is youtube. You post to any of those platforms, you're a youtuber.
@mikedov if you don't like their policies, don't use their instance. I haven't seen anything saying they're blocking _any_ servers in the fediverse. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
@alex peertube has data quotas for each user and ONE of my videos would exceed that quota. Plus I like my arrangement with LBRY. They're cool people

@mikedov some people accuse Purism of censorship. Others accuse them of not doing enough to police speech.
And I'm over here like ๐ง ๐จ
@DiaBiana source?
I got an error when trying to link my Librem Social account with my new LiberaPay account. I thought they were being cheeky, but then I realized they wanted me to use social.librem.one instead.
@ybalrid you're welcome, man man!
(Running Arch on a server does make you certifiable) ๐๐
