@gbryant You should contact purism about their FOSS mentality. They make good products but they also censor entire instances because of political beliefs. FOSS is about being open and free to do what you want, not censoring those who have different opinions.
On their Librem Social Android app they block anyone using the gab instance (which aren't Nazis, just people who want to be free from censorship) from using their app. If they truly care, they need to keep the Free in FOSS part.
@mikedov some people accuse Purism of censorship. Others accuse them of not doing enough to police speech.

@mikedov if you don't like their policies, don't use their instance. I haven't seen anything saying they're blocking _any_ servers in the fediverse. 🤷♂️
@gbryant Sorry I wasted your time, now that I'm thinking about it it's probably from that it's a tusky fork and I wasn't thinking. Purism is great, don't know why I doubted them.

@gbryant Yeah, it's weird to think about. But even then, they are clearly censoring people for absolutely no reason. Well, maybe political. Even logically it doesn't make sense though. They are blocking one of the most popular instances right now, and having their ratings tanked on the Play Store.
