@pafurijaz @kkremitzki It was a crowdfunded campaign to develop it. It did run late, but it doesn't take one week to design, develop and produce a device like this :P
@cas @craftyguy @postmarketOS One of the first things I did after receiving mine: https://social.librem.one/@dos/108517847004325684 :D

@nasser Still enjoying some of those effects on my KDE Plasma setup 😁
@sophie Doesn't seem much for a 13MP camera ;)
@danct12 @w84death I have the original one, but its USB-PD issues are much more... uhm, binary :P It just doesn't work with PD sources at all unless you slightly pull the plug in a way that makes one of the CC lines not connect, because otherwise it doesn't correctly signal the charger to start providing voltage.
@w84death Not a big deal, Debian with task-desktop takes 4GB and can be easily made much lighter:)
I'm laughing at memes about billionaires who can't pull themselves up to the surface by their own bootstraps, but in reality I'm furious.
I'm furious I was accused of human smuggling by FRONTEX (European border agency) for being part of a sea rescue operation that saved 1000+ lives of refugees fleeing war & terrorism.
I'm furious at the money and international effort being spent to rescue these billionaires when operations like ours cost so little and save so many lives, but are punished.
@foone When I'm compiling credits list I usually just put all the used things there regardless of whether they end up in the final build or not. Sometimes they're used by tooling, sometimes they end up in other kinds of builds, sometimes they're optional dependencies of the engine that may not necessarily be used by the particular game... etc
I assume it's better to overshoot than to miss something :D
@devrtz I don't know what you're talking about... :>
Apparently Flappy Bird is 10 years old this year. It reminded me of my crappy ncurses remake I did back in 2014. Now it reacts to mouse input and does haptic feedback when played on a phone 😂 https://gitlab.com/dosowisko.net/flasciibird #flappybird #mobile #games #librem5 #shotonlibrem5
Mobile #Linux at #DevConf_CZ. I've added my OnePlus 6 to the collection. Thank you, @jmlich, for running the booth.
First week with my #Librem5 as my only phone. What happened so far:
- Synchronized contacts and calendar (Nextcloud)
- Added appointment to calendar and new contacts
- Made phone calls (nornal, loudspeaker)
- Wrote, received SMS
- Used Matrix
- Browesd the web
- Listen to music (Aux, Bluetooth, loudspeeker)
- Made a WiFi Hotspot
- Wrote a Python script to plot a complicated function
- Read News
- Took pictures
- Checked my location on the map
- Wrote this post
- Played games
- Probably more
Haven't seen anyone posting this yet, so I figured I'll share it: during our recent #Gnome #mobileLinux hackfest we got the experimental #libcamera pipeline handler for the #purism #Librem5 to work and make a video call with @dino. There were still some serious issues we didn't have time to debug any more - but hey, it's something :) (featuring @cas )
Yesterday, my friend's son turned four. They had his party at the lake. Since there wasn't really an address to share, my friend sent me the GPS coordinates.
I plugged them into Puremaps and it led me straight there while I was also listening to a podcast.
#mobilelinux and the #librem5 have come a long way.
@izaera "when booted on qemu" means in a VM.
@izaera It wasn't rebooting a PC, but rather booting a VM repeatedly in a loop, which takes about a second for a single iteration 😛 Still nasty though.
