As a admin of such a system, while i hate its propriatary nature, I must say there is value to it.

But only if people can properly define how to use it and some self controlling mechanism prevents it from getting outdated.

Ours has some inline comment system. Same i see here.
Pointing someone on a spot and use it as a temporary short async communication is valuable.

But I have seen long running discussions there, thats what indeed other channels are for.

No its not ok if your app suddenly only works on chrome. #firefox is the browser I use and it used to work there. And there was no change on that side, so _you_ didn't check for it. Damit.

@shiftphones falls es davon mal eine version 2 geben sollte. Ich such genau das, aber anstatt des kurzen USB-C Stummels einen Stecker damit ich das Kabel selber wählen kann. Das bieten sonst nur die grossen Dockingstations. #mobilelinux wäre der usecase.
