@lunduke Being someone who has been off and on centralized social media, what is your take on advertising open source on those services?
I would like to keep my projects and their news as free, open (without geo blocks) as possible, but when it comes to GitHub and Twitter it feels like one is missing out on more potential contributors when not using them. I don't wish to reinforce the feeling that the best content is found only there.
How much do repo mirrors and cross posting help?

@lunduke Oh Captain! My Captain! What is the future of Linux phones and do community driven projects have a place in that future? I know much of the excitement is centered around the first shipment of Librem 5 phones, but as someone who has never been able to afford a new phone without paying a carrier for it through monthly installments, I can't help but feel excluded from this excitement. I want to believe the Pinephone is my answer, but can community built mobile operating systems deliver?

I work away at sea and the internet is worse that dial up most of the time, so I use email to sort out a lot. I use gmail and protonmail but takes ages to login.
Do you know of a secure free email service that doesn't need 3 days to load java or 10 UToob adverts before I can read my mail?
Its making my hair grey, tho it may be because I've not mocked an iPhone user for a few days since its #nicetober.

@lunduke Is it possible for a program like the Gnu hurd kernel to become the default for any operating system in the future, given that it proves to have the superior architecture(a microkernel)?
