LPT : forget about the bad news and work on a fun project like @PINE64 #pinetime.

Here's my latest achievement : time synchronization and BLE notification from a Linux computer to the Pinetime.

This is the beginning of a Linux companion app for the Pinetime, yay!

did a first test running Reform 2 from batteries with display on, medium brightness, all cores on, GPU in use by the compositor, low load, mPCIe WiFi active, NVMe SSD active (logging), keyboard backlight enabled, no powersave features in use: 292 minutes until safety switchoff.

so almost 5 hours. i believe this can be optimized with powersave strategies but i think it's quite ok already.

currently turns off if a cell reaches 2.6V. it could go a bit lower, but i don't think for much gain.

I really wanted to skip through songs easily on my #librem5 when carrying it around, so i hacked up a simplistic media player widget for #phosh using the #mpris protocol (wip code, don't try this at home yet)

ok it finally works. wifi via ath5k mPCIe card. backlight keyboard. LiFePO4 battery charging. speakers.

@chr @mntmn GIMP can import and export XPM files. I just tried it.

final Reform optical trackball PCBs

I've collected some hacks from our kernel team and tested the idle time on battery on my Librem 5 Birch - got almost exactly 6 hours while staying at 38°C the whole time. Not that long ago it struggled to reach 3h and stay under 60°C - and they're not done yet! :D #librem5 #imx8m
