@bart @linmob @joao @devrtz This is cool! I hadn't heard of this Simula project before. I'm really glad to hear that there were already some people working on something like this. I'll have to keep an eye on their progress going forward.

@soller That was an interesting read. Thanks for sharing.

@PublicLewdness @janvlug @purism I don't think it will. Suspend was already working reliably on the pinephone for quite some time now.

Okay, I've got a general Mastodon question. Is there any way to block a person so that their posts don't show up in your feed even if someone else you follow boosts them?

My expectation was that just blocking and muting somebody would have accomplished this, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Anyhow, thanks in advance for any information about how to acheive the desired effect.

This is so cool. A 386 PC (no really) as a handheld in 2023. They've even got a tiny 8088 laptop. tomshardware.com/news/hand-386

@linmob @emilis @lantashi @linuxphoneapps I will second the recomendation for geopard within a phone interface. On a desktop, lagrange is a far better choice, but on mobile I use geopard.

Also, I would recommend checking out Tuba for interacting with mastadon: flathub.org/apps/details/dev.g . Tootle is no longer under active development whereas Tuba is, plus it has more features.

@samuelnorbury How exactly did you accomplish this? I just updated my and millipixels looks and works exactlty as it used to. Which is to say, without having the features you mentioned here.

@TheEvilSkeleton @GeopJr Okay, so I just switched over to this from Tootle. Anyhow, Tuba is amazing, I love it!

I just wanted to stop by here to voice my appreciation. Stellar work, guys!

@JF @PINE64 It works great. Thanks for all your hard work!

@phoronix Wow, that performance per watt this CPU puts out is amazing!

@gadgetoid @mntmn I agree with having something included in there for scale (and I even like the lego minifig idea). Other things you might consider including for size comparisons might be, a dvd/blu-ray case, a nintendo switch, a soda can, or perhaps a run-of-the mill paperback novel.

If you think back to the old macbook air reveal, really it was the removal from the manilla folder that shocked/impressed everybody. It was impactful because people knew that size.

@kyle You may call me uncultured, but I think that looks great. On a side note... what an interesting hobby, a very tangible and creative one. Probably pairs really well with software development... I spend hours upon hours writing code or working on documents, but never really have anything too tangible to show for it. Maybe I'll take this as a sign that I need to get back to brewing beer. That way I'd at least have a hobby that others could enjoy as well.

@ticktok @mntmn Oh man, I'm a total sucker for video game music. As I've never heard of this game before, I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the heads up!

@dos Oooh, this looks nice. I use the convergence mode almost daily, so this will be a huge boon.
