For those on #Gemini, I wrote up a little on the #Librem5 a few weeks ago. I'm still getting used to it, but I am writing this post on the Librem 5 :) It is much more capable than my old Pinephone (though the Pinephone is cool).

Most important for my writing, it runs #Manuskript really well. I use #Tootle for Mastodon, and #Lagrange for cruising Gemini.

@lantashi How is #Lagrange working for you on #Librem5? After some work I was able to use it in the computer mode, but it's very buggy in the phone mode.

See: github.com/skyjake/lagrange/is

@emilis @lantashi I have been evaluating Lagrange for @linuxphoneapps, and while it somewhat worked in the past (being blurry with Xwayland), recent builds native on wayland (tested on postmarketOS, as it's packaged in Alpine) don't fit the screen at all, hence it was not added.

My favorite Gemini browser is linuxphoneapps.org/apps/com.ra btw 😀

@linmob @emilis @lantashi @linuxphoneapps I will second the recomendation for geopard within a phone interface. On a desktop, lagrange is a far better choice, but on mobile I use geopard.

Also, I would recommend checking out Tuba for interacting with mastadon: flathub.org/apps/details/dev.g . Tootle is no longer under active development whereas Tuba is, plus it has more features.

@leimon @linmob @emilis @linuxphoneapps I will check out geopard as a Gemini browser on the Librem 5. Thanks!

@leimon @linmob @emilis @linuxphoneapps

I tried out both Tuba and Geopard, and love them both :) Thanks for the suggestions!
