@mntmn Very exciting news!
@mntmn Nice, you added the RTC!! Moving it off the SOM means that all future SOMs will get the benefit of it. Consider me very pleased.
@mntmn In the end, did you decide to add a RTC with a coin cell backup? I saw that consideration in one of your Twitter postings and I do very much like the idea.
@bart I watched it last night. It was a great talk, thanks.
My talk about Linux on Mobile on #fosdem2020 with Merlijn Wajer from Maemo Leste is now online!

@Wolf480pl@niu.moe @mntmn "Now we come to ticks and tocks, sir. Try to say this Mr. Knox, sir. . . ."
@martijnbraam What a mad lad. I'm impressed.
@todd Nice progress! Looks like things are coming together.
Just in case you haven't seen it, there is a write up on the reform up on Tom's Hardware:
It's a pretty big site so I'd say it's a pretty big deal.
ok i wrote another update on the state of Reform, i guess the last one before campaign launch https://mntre.com/media/reform_md/2020-01-18-finishing-reform.html
@mntmn Assuming my earlier comment wasn't too far off the mark. Perhaps it would be worth while for you to reach out to the guys over at: https://www.powerpc-notebook.org/en/ . Right now I think their plan is to design a motherboard to drop into the same chassis used by the KDE slimbook. If you are doing what I think you are doing, it would be much better for them to design to the new standard you are creating.
