This is a great tool for writers, with many similarities to . It is not quite as polished, but is free software, and is compatible with Linux (as well as Mac and Windows).

It really helps to design stories using the Snowflake Method. You separate your story into scenes, have a timeline feature available, character editing, scene editing, and more.

My uninformed theory about the Mozilla layoffs is that Google waited for anti-trust hearings and then canceled/drastically reduced FF sponsorship claiming COVID cost-cutting, safe in the knowledge that browsers weren't brought up in the hearings.
