@thunderbird Also received this update today.
I admit that I was a little bit fearful of the new design and the left side sidebar.
But this update is awesome.
Average CPU usage of Thunderbird dropped on my laptop.
Several nice quality of life improvements with encrypted emails workflow.
The new colors for folders do help.
And the sidebar that I was fearful does not get in my way.
Matching #phosh 0.21.1 there's phosh-mobile-settings 0.21.1 with another dock added and some fixes: https://gitlab.gnome.org/guidog/phosh-mobile-settings/-/tags/v0.21.1
During the summer Radically Open Security performed a security audit of Fractal as part of the NLnet grant.
The results can be found over here https://blogs.gnome.org/jsparber/2022/09/27/fractal-security-audit/
We just published the first tagged alpha release of Fractal.
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/fractal/-/releases/5-alpha1
This doesn't change how we publish Fractal builds and it's still only available on GNOME Nightly.

Let's hope for more regular news from now on :P
This is what happens when you apply demosaicing to your build log. That's what image processing work for #libcamera looks like.
Since a glib update in Debian yesterday, phosh seems to like to crash a lot. This is likely caused by a deprecation of functionality in glib and caused https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/phosh/-/issues/840 . This was fixed like an hour ago in phosh 0.21.0-2, so do not despair.
To follow up on the #phosh breakage due to a glib update: Mobian has a fixed phosh version 0.21.0-2~mobian1 up now. It should be safe to upgrade again.
It will take a few days until the fixed version will arrive in Debian testing.
