@zak Can you use the RSS-feed of your own handle as back-up? (I am not at my computer with rss-feeds right now, therfore this remark: I think it feeds your own toots, not your reply-toots, but that is easy to check).

@shawnp0wers You can also RSS-subscribe to a hashtag "outside" Mastodon. (I am not sure if some toots may not be shown depending on public-level settings for each handle).
In general, it's cool that Mastodon support RSS-feeds.

@reality2cast @katherined @dsearls @shawnp0wers @kyle When you said it's not so easy to insert the relme code in WordPress; is that if you run WP as a service with someone else as admin? Or also if you set up the WP site with the WP sw? I do not use WP, but I use the alternative Joomla, installed and configured myself, and there it is not so strange to insert code, and I would assume it would be similar in a real WP installation. ?
