You know what would immediately make me feel more comfortable posting here? A way to automatically back up posts to something like a private journal.

I used to have an IFTTT applet that would let me back up everything I tweeted to Day One. I neglected to do it because I thought Twitter would be around long enough to avoid my caring about it.

Now that I've learned my lesson, it'd be great practice to automatically back up posts as they're made to some sort of local storage. I get that I could just run my own instance or whatever, but something a bit more clean and automated would be awesome.
