I think I’ve heard, eg at MintCast, that some IoT devices use very old and outdated versions of the Linux kernel, and by that increased vulnerability for privacy and security attacks. Any comment?

Right or wrong, now is Sweden very close to fill in the application form to join NATO, if we receive the form. Today the Social democrats have taken its decision, so now majority of parliament is pro to join NATO - as soon as possible.

I have never had any media center, but thought of it. I simply have all on my main machine. But after Bill at Mintcast (ep 381.5) talked about Jellyfin software, I put that on my Consideration list. jellyfin.org/

@kyle Thanks for good article. To keep privacy, or understand when and what is broken, is complicated. In addition, I think "we" often think out from "I have nothing to hide". Furthermore, when I was young, diaries books had a padlock (ok, easy to break), but it said this writing was private, in comparison to how we shout out a lot private/personal info on social media.

It's not a fully fair and objective comparison (eg included start up sw, real measurement etc). But it feels as my Linux Mint OS boots faster than my macOS, both of latest version. Compared on a some years old macMini and an older Thinkpad.

@zaivala I'll have to bring up a map to see your route!

@zaivala I listened on my desktop from the website now, it worked normal.

@zaivala I have problem with #260, isn’t downloaded on Apple podcaster. Also won’t start via web on phone. May try on computer one or another way coming days.

@zaivala -:) No big problem. But he can maybe adjust a bit next time.

@zaivala I’m halfway into my DG listening. I think it was in the beautiful failures sections some of your sentences probably were cut to close in the editing. Also one or another pause that is very short in editing, I suppose. As a feedback. Anyway, I enjoy the show.

A few photos of flowers. I explore the free and open soure RawTherapee software for raw photo developing. hemrin.com/business-blog/347-f

@katherined @reality2cast @dsearls One cannot put too much efforts on everything. As long as it works ok. You cannot add from fireside backend a text frame with the required html-code? Eventually in small siza or of possible same color as background, if you only want the icon link to be visible. Just a thought. On a non-important matter.

@reality2cast @katherined @dsearls When I look at sourecode, under "Reality 2.0 on social media", I see Twitter, Fb and Youtube, but not Mastodon. I cannot find "rel="me" anywhere on the start page. Haven't decoded how you inserted the Mastodon-link which for sure is there. But seems as not implemented in a way that Mastodon can decode. Good luck to figure out!
