So, how many #Nintendo franchises have you played?

Personally I got 27 points, so 27 franchises I guess

Thankfulness seems to be a running theme throughout the Bible. We see Moses give thanks to God after the parting of the Red Sea. (Exodus 15:1-19) We see Jesus give thanks to the Father for hearing Him just before Lazarus is resurrected. (John 11:41-44) And one of the Psalms says, "Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, and His steadfast love endures forever." (Psalm 106:1) We're told by Paul to "give thanks always for all things to God and the Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." (Ephesians 5:20)

In my experience, I've found that following this advice is extremely beneficial. Thankfulness makes hardship easier to endure. It makes it harder to take things for granted. It helps me keep my priorities straight to remember to be thankful to God for what He has given me, since I remember that all I have is a gift from Him and ought to be used for His will. A lot of times, it even helps diffuse anger to remember to be thankful for whoever or whatever you're angry at.

What's something you're thankful for today?

The glass is both half-empty and half-full. There, now you never need to wonder about it again 🙂

Mobian started as a hobby project, triggered by the excitement of finally being able to hack one’s mobile phone at will. It is fair to say that the device that made it possible back then was the original PinePhone. However, after running once again into the same difficulties we experienced over and over, we’re wondering whether maintaining support for this device is still worth the effort…

"Who’s there?"

Programming is like sitting on a swing going back and forth between

"I'm a coding genius"

and

"I'm the biggest idiot alive"

We already had something that turned text prompts into art, it was called paying an artist.

Ukrainian hackers claim to have to have stolen passenger information on 664 million flights going back 16 years from a Russian travel booking system. The hackers aren't leaking the whole thing yet, and say they'll share access with verified journalists (I've asked and am still waiting).

So far, coverage of this claim is almost nil, except for this story over at Yahoo News, which is actually sourced from Ukrainska Pravda. h/t to the Risky Business show this week, which also pointed to the Yahoo story.

But if it turns out to be legit, this could be a very significant boon to investigations into cybercrime networks, money laundering, and even espionage and influence operations.

Updated @allanday's Disks mockups to a split view layout. Always surprising how much of a difference this small change makes visually :)

The 2022 Annual Report is now available for download! 2022 was an interesting year for #Mastodon to say the least.

This might have slipped under the radar these past few days, but a 9.8 RCE in Exim (on many, many mail servers) that does not require authentication is bad bad bad.
