You don't need separate accounts to interact with different kinds of Fediverse servers.

For example, if you have a Mastodon account you can follow PeerTube accounts such as @theatticdwellers or @alliterative and their videos will appear in your Mastodon timeline as if they were Mastodon posts.

If you reply to a PeerTube video within Mastodon, the reply will also appear as a comment below that video on PeerTube. (And comments made on PeerTube will appear as replies on Mastodon.)

The people who have been developing OVOS are attempting to establish a nonprofit organization to continue development of their open source voice assistant. OVOS is derived from Mycroft, but with Mycroft AI's recent difficulties has become more of a fork. Other projects such as Neon use OVOS as a base. If you've got a couple spare pennies to rub together they could really use the help in keeping open source voice assistants around.

Do you want to display a Mastodon account's public posts filtered by hashtag?

There's a way to do it using their profile page's web address:

1. Go to the account's original page on the web (more info: https://fedi.tips/what-are-original-pages-in-mastodon/)
2. Copy the original page's web address
3. Add /tagged/(hashtag, but without the #) on the end of that address

So, for example, if you wanted to see posts on my account tagged with #Pixelfed the address would be:

If you log in through your server's website, then go to your own profile page and click on the ︙ icon, you can see interesting information about your account including:

-Blocked users
-Muted users
-Blocked domains
-Followed hashtags
-Follow requests

etc.

To add to this, the worst misconceptions that have led to misinformation and political strife are:

1. There are only two sides. My side and the bad one.

No, there are not. It’s not a sports game.

2. Anything said about the other side is true and doesn’t need fact checking.

No, it especially does. People have a blind spot for stories that match their worldview or that they want to be true.

3. Someone I agree with must be a good person (and vice versa)

Nope. Definitely not.
