Quick tip: if you camelCase your hashtags, people who use screen readers will have an easier time with them.
So, for example: #twitterMigration or #TwitterMigration instead of #twittermigration
@SethBrown true true, I think we can't summarize it better than that phrase.
I also heard analogies like Linux being a great and caring teacher, so long you keep doing the homework.
If anything it makes us, dedicated users, more resilient to when tech breaks - we thrive when others give up.
Okay, so... I have a bit of an announcement.
I've created a website for FediFollows which has all the accounts I've ever recommended (that are still working!) organised into nice topics and tags:
You can browse the main directory or the top 100 tags page. (Also considering adding an "all tags" page, if there's demand.)
Please let me know what you think! Any feedback very welcome 🙏
(This is why I haven't posted in a few days! 😅 )

have you met anyone from the #fediverse in person?
Prompt: "I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate."
If you want a link to be clickable on here, remember to include https:// at the beginning when you're writing it.
Twitter automatically turns any phrase with a dot in the middle into a link, but that doesn't happen on Mastodon etc because sometimes people want to include dots in phrases that aren't links.
(This also applies to other kinds of link protocol such as gemini:// etc)
I'm entered in a college #supersmashbros competition!
I'm actually not that good (outside of the living room :) ); I'm a little above a level-8 auto. But I'll see how long I can hang on!

Hello there!
I boost a lot of posts, but I have a few things to say every now and then.
I am largely fine with boosting posts from people I disagree with even on significant, dividing issues. I usually don't, however, if they actively advocate for these ideas... so it goes :/
