@CM30 Opposite for me. My favorites are long-lasting: just Roblox, Minecraft, and Super Smash Bros. come to mind as my long-lasting most favorite videogames.

This is some impressive research: IOActive researchers figured out how to get root access on a bitcoin ATM, using the same physical access that a regular customer might have (the touch screen).

@briankrebs Wow, that was pretty naive security. Frustrates me more than I find it funny.

@royal We've gotten and sent back an HP printer before. They can be pretty forceful over their users.

If your standard is perfection, not only is it an impossible standard but it is one that will leave you disappointed.

As a science fiction writer, I am professionally irritated by a lot of sf movies. Not only do those writers get paid a *lot* more than I do, they insist on including things like "self-destruct" buttons on the bridges of their starships.

E-Crime Rapper ‘Punchmade Dev’ Debuts Card Shop

The rapper and social media personality Punchmade Dev is perhaps best known for his flashy videos singing the praises of a cybercrime lifestyle. With memorable hits such as “Internet Swiping” and “Million Dollar Criminal” earning millions of views, Punchmade has leveraged his considerable following to peddle tutorials on how to commit financial crimes online. But until recently, there wasn’t much to support a conclusion that Punchmade was actually doing the cybercrime things he promotes in his songs.

@system76 So glad to see the Serval and Bonobo lines back! Crazy.

@ChallengeApathy If Mastodon or the Fediverse at large blows up in popularity, I'm worried a little that it will become an issue, as creating bots for Mastodon is very easy (as it is a very open platform) but is much less accessible with Twitter. However we have much better moderation here, so spammers might not find it worth it as we can block more efficiently and even block whole servers.
I don't know 🤞
