I boost a lot of posts, but I have a few things to say every now and then.
I am largely fine with boosting posts from people I disagree with even on significant, dividing issues. I usually don't, however, if they actively advocate for these ideas... so it goes :/

@royal Maybe nowadays, but when I first tried Linux - Ubuntu - it was so bad I went back to Windows. Back in those Unity desktop environment days it was so janky that Windows was literally better (though this was before I was as aware of privacy and independence issues in tech). Modern Ubuntu (and Linux in general!) is much better than Windows now, IMO. Compatibility aside.

One nice thing about Mastodon is if you see something interesting just as you're refreshing your timeline and it pops out of view, you can just scroll back to it instead of it vanishing into the algorithmic ether forever.
@ben Do you suspect the Librem 5 will become illegal there because of this?
