Make no mistake, Smudge is *absolutely* plotting shenanigans

The list of [un]intentionally Turing-complete games welcomes a new entry: TETRIS! 🧱

Yes, as it turns out, Tetris is capable of universal universal computation. And if you don't believe it, there's even a simulator you can try for yourself! 👇

Mastodon bumps up the active user count when a user logs on, including right after sign up. I’m not surprised the monthly active user number is coming down a bit, there’s no service out there that has 100% retention on new sign ups.

Those who think they have not time for bodily exercise will sooner or later have to find time for illness. ~ Edward Stanley

I suppose this is one of the things that separates the successful from the unsuccessful. I need to resume my programming and projects.

@ronak I have a Sheik amiibo, and my brother has a Link amiibo. They are really nice, and Figure Players are so fun to "raise" and play with!

Also, it seems that some of the nicest qualities found in life are as side effects. Trying to look cool is very different from being cool because you're talented and refine it, for example.

I'm thinking about how I often get stuck doing work I don't want to do that I have put off, and I realize that: when you try to get what you want without paying regard to what you need to do, you usually don't get what you want.

As a procedural animation enthusiast, it is no surprise that Rain World is one of my favourite games of all time.

It's a true masterpiece from every angle you look at it!

From its unique aesthetics, to the incredibly complex AI that powers every creature.

If you are curious to learn more about the game, have a look at this documentary!

@moddedbear @dallin@fosstodon.org I'd be open to the idea of filters as a service, where you select an organization and subscribe to its filters (including the Mastodon filter feature where a filter can block specific posts).
I think that would be very cool. You choose who moderates, in addition to your server's moderation.

If you're @-ing someone on here, it's really important to check that you've chosen the right person.

Account addresses on Mastodon and the Fediverse always have two parts, the username and the server. Both these parts have to be correct for it to reach the right account.

This is similar to email addresses: you can't just put the first part, you need to include the server at the end too.

To see someone's full account address, look at their profile page. More info at fedi.tips/how-to-use-mastodon-

@Fu It is an unusual thing to do; what I do is copy the Zero Width Space character (right-><-here) and paste it where I need it.
My computer has an app called Characters, where I can search for the name of a character to find and copy it. You can also probably google for "zero width space" and find a site with a copy button, too.

@RL_Dane Woahwoahwoahwoahwoah woah Alt+Shift+F7 for advanced settings? Is this a hidden undocumented feature or is that keycombo shown on the screen?
Is it a normal thing to have hidden firmware settings?
