Nintendo has announced a live-action film based on The Legend of Zelda, directed by Wes Ball, who helmed the "Maze Runner" trilogy. Variety has the details. How are we all feeling about this?

Last Saturday there was another #SSBU competition at my college. It was pretty stacked, for us: one player, an alumni, even flew in to compete.

@gsuberland A friend of mine has seriously looked into starting a business of "neutering" smart TVs.
Open it up, completely remove the motherboard. Keep power supply and panel, replace the electronics with an FPGA that just takes HDMI/DisplayPort in and drives the panel.
Then resell it as a dumb display.

My son wanted to be a white knight chess piece this year. We typically make his costumes and I decided to tackle this one. The result is in two pieces. The base is made from foam pipe insulation covered in an old bed sheet. The head is foam core with internal pool noodle scaffolding.
@wervice I use the server's Web interface, and the Mastodon for Android mobile app (don't judge, lol)

Just a quick tip for anyone making games, drawing art, writing books, or doing any other form of creative work…
Don’t just post about your stuff in artist/creator focused spaces, since other artists and creators are not your audience.
Just putting it out there, since a lot of people end up only promoting their work to other creators, then wondering why they’re not doing so well…
