Found time to work on this again: a new conversation view using one webview. Current code uses a webview per message.

Geary 44 has just been released, I hope to finish this for Geary 45.

This is REALLY important.

“In Finland, the number of homeless people has fallen sharply. Those affected receive a small apartment and counselling with no preconditions. 4 out of 5 people affected make their way back into a stable life. And all this is CHEAPER than accepting homelessness.”

Let that sink in. It costs less than accepting homelessness.

Love their "Corporate greed life cycle" image. We've all been through this cycle with tech companies that used to offer really cool products.

we now have flatpak builds (CI) for both x86 & ARM!!

We're trying to get as many core apps as possible updated to the new Libadwaita widgets for 45 (ToolbarView, NavigationView, SplitView)!

This is the initiative issue, help on any of the missing apps would be appreciated: gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/Initiat

13.000 cyclists demonstrated against #Berlin new conservative senator’s decision to stop (and potentially scrap) ongoing infrastructure changes that would have improved the safety of cyclists and pedestrians and contributed to reaching environmental targets.

13.000 people.
7km of streets continuously filled with cyclists.
And you barely hear about it in the news.

13.000 is a big number.
Imagine 13.000 SUVs with a flat tire: would we hear more about it in the news?

Ever notice how forgiving loans is suddenly a big problem when students get much-needed relief, but nobody blinks an eye when the richest 20% of American households get their PPP loans forgiven? Or when corporations are handed billions in subsidies?

now that almost all #gnome apps support mobile, it's time to rethink tiling window management you cowards

Another day, another year’s worth of CO2 used by someone who claims they care about the environment (because saying that makes him more money).

Libreboot 20230625 released!

libreboot.org/news/libreboot20

Brief summary of changes since 20230423 release:

* Massive build system audit, bugs fixed. Cleaner BSD-like coding style now used for much of the logic.
* Two new boards (HP 2570p and 8300 USDT)
* Microcode-free ROMs available, as alternative to default ROMs that include it.
* gru-* chromebook fixes: more reliable boot/shutdown
* Better error handling in lbmk
* Forked spkmodem-recv from GNU, *pledged* it and re-wrote in OpenBSD coding style

As if I needed another reason to love #Warp. It paints the loading bar in rainbow colors for #pridemonth.
This means a lot. Thank you!

Updated to InfiniTime 1.13 (github.com/InfiniTimeOrg/Infin) using ITD. Looking forward to the improved battery life.

i'm glad to be able to say that we are once again working with NLnet. this time they are funding the development of a future MNT Reform version (codenamed MNT Reform Next) that is thinner and powered by a next-gen processor such as RK3588. please note that we are still early in the process and want to solicitate feedback and collaboration from other makers so that it is easy to contribute and reuse modules across projects.

Testing the new merge request to set lockscren wallpapers in while waiting for vodafone's hotline to *please* fix out internet connection (which they fail to do so for seven days in a row now).

Has anybody tried to assemble and run Genode OS on an Arm64 based mobile phone yet?

Seems that it has all the hallmarks of open source OS with microkernel and policy framework that should make this a faster and more secure os than Unix based Linux. Thoughts?
